Quick & Fast
  • Ages 6-14
  • Power Skating Training in quick starts, rapid acceleration, quick directional changes, foot quickness, lateral movement, powerful stride and full-speed puck control.

Outside Edges

  • Ages 6-14
  • Power Skating Training in outside edge control, tight turns and quick directional changes, forward crossover and backward crossunder acceleration.

Stickhandling & Puck Control

  • Ages 6-14
  • Technique training in the art of stickhandling including quick hands and feet, moves, deking, faking, puck protection, creating space and ice awareness.

Shoot to Score

  • Ages 6-14
  • Technique training to improve scoring ability through better body control resulting in a quick release, improved accuracy and more velocity in wrist shots, snap shots, slap shots and backhands in all situations.

Backward Power Skating

  • Ages 9-14
  • Training in various skills needed when playing without the puck, including: stick-to-puck techniques, angling, gap control, closing and effective body contact concepts. All this to get the puck back and go on the attack!

D-Skills

  • Ages 9-14
  • Technique clinic on proper body and stick positioning, angling, gap control, playing situations, controlling time and space, closing, and effective stick and body checking technique.

  • Ages 9-14
  • Emphasis on reading, reacting and cashing in on scoring chances at the paint including wrap-arounds, rebounds, deflections & steep-angle shooting. You're never too low in the zone to create and score a goal!

*NEW* Goalie Puckhandling

  • Ages 6-14
  • A chance to get out of the net, play the puck and develop good habits in reading the situation, passing, clearing the puck & getting back into position. Confidence with the puck allows you to take charge!

*NEW* Body Contact

  • Ages 9-14
  • Technique training in 1-on-1 body contact situations including: stick positioning, strong posture with and without the puck, balance, leverage and reading situations in all three zones.
