Suburban Hockey School Clinics

  • What is the instructor to player ratio?

8:1 ratio

 

  • How many skaters are in a clinic?

Up to 32 players in a clinic.

 

  • Can account credits be applied to rink run programs?

Suburban Hockey School credits can only be applied to Suburban Hockey School programs.

 

  • Are refunds offered for sick or injured skaters?

Account credits can be issued for a sick or injured player. Credits are good for one year and can be used towards any Suburban Hockey School program.

 

  • Do you offer private lessons?

Yes, private lessons are available upon request.Email shsclinics@suburbanice.com for more information.

 

  • Is a jersey provided at the clinics?

Jerseys are provided for our STP and Summer programs. Jerseys are not provided for the one and two-day clinics.

 

  • Is pre-registration required, or are walk-ins welcome?

Pre-registration is required for all SHS clinics.

 

  • How do I register for SHS Clinics?

Registration is on-line at Suburbanhockey.com.

 

  • Do parents have to stay at the rink during a clinic?

We recommend a parent/guardian remains at the rink while their skater participates in our programs.

 

  • Do you offer any discounts?

A multi-Activity discount is offered for our summer hockey and power skating programs. Discounts are not offered for one or two-day clinics.

 

  • What type of equipment is required for SHS clinics?

Full equipment is required for all SHS programs: Helmet with a Cage or plastic bubble, chest protector, elbow pads, gloves, shin pads, hockey pants, skates, and a stick. Neck guards are recommended, but not required.

Adult Breakfast Club

  • How do I register for Breakfast club?

Registration is on-line CLICK HERE

 

  • What is the age requirement for Breakfast Club?

Anyone 18 years or older can participate in Breakfast Club Skates.

 

  • What if I’ve never played hockey before, but I can skate, can I participate?

Yes, Breakfast Club skates are for players of all levels.

 

  • Can women participate in Breakfast club?

Yes, absolutely! Women are welcome to join Breakfast Club.

 

  • What equipment is required for Breakfast Club skates?

  • I can’t make every Breakfast Club skate, is there a way to pro-rate my enrollment?

We do not pro-rate for missed sessions.

 

  • Do I receive a jersey for Breakfast Club Skates?

Yes, jerseys will be passed out the first day of skates.
