8U HOCKEY SCHOOL
The 8U Hockey School focuses on puckhandling skills specifically puck control, forehand/backhand passing/receiving, forehand/backhand shooting, as well as an instructional scrimmage on the final day.
8U POWER SKATING
Ages 5 - 8: 8U Power Skating focuses on the proper skating technique specifically forward and backward stride technique training, and edge control (starts, stops, turns, pivots, forward crossovers and backward crossunders).

10U POWER SKATING
10U Power Skating session will focus on forward and backward stride technique, stopping, and edge control (explosive starts, stops, & directional change, crossover/crossunder acceleration, pivots, and transitional skating technique).
10U HOCKEY SCHOOL
10U Hockey School session will focus on refining puck skills and hockey concepts. Specifically deceptive stickhandling moves, passing and receiving techniques for quick puck movement, proper forehand and backhand shooting mechanics, stick strength, and stick checking skills. Instructional scrimmage to be held on the final day.
AGES 7-12
TRAINING CAMP
SHS Training Camp is designed to help players elevate their game through a comprehensive approach that combines on-ice skill development with off-ice performance training. Athletes will work on skating, puck handling, shooting, and game situations in a fast-paced environment.
In addition to physical training, the camp includes video review sessions to breakdown game play and improve decision-making. This blend of technical instruction, conditioning, and tactical analysis ensures players leave with a deeper understanding of the game and the tools to perform at their best.
Cancellation Policy:
Account credits will be issued for all cancellations made more than ONE WEEK before the start of the program - NO REFUNDS. Account credits are non-transferable to any other Suburban Ice Arena or Non-Suburban Hockey School Program. At any point in time if a check is processed, a $35 processing fee will be applied.
